Sevendust didn’t waste any time getting 2014 started the best way they know how: being holed up in the recording studio to create their long-awaited and highly-anticipated acoustic album. TIME TRAVELERS & BONFIRES will be released in April on 7Bros. Records, in conjunction with ADA Label Services. On April 1, they’ll hit the road for their first U.S. headlining tour of the year, entitled “An Evening With Sevendust,” which kicks off in Athens, GA at the Georgia Theatre.
Today, GuitarWorld.com presents the exclusive premiere of "Can't Control It," a new song by the Infinite Staircase. Brothers Jeff and Lenny Cerzosie called on a little help from their friends — including Sevendust's Clint Lowery and Morgan Rose, plus Black Label Society's John "JD" DeServio — to create No Amends, the Infinite Staircase's just-released EP.
After nearly two decades together, Sevendust remain one of few bands to come out of the '90s with all five original members — John Connolly (guitar), Clint Lowery (guitar), Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Vince Hornsby (bass) and Morgan Rose (drums) — intact. It's a testament to the friendship and musicianship the band brings to its fans and each other night after night, album after album.
When he’s not touring or recording with Sevendust — who are in the studio working on the follow-up to 2010’s Cold Day Memory — guitarist Clint Lowery stays busy with several other projects, including Call Me No One, HDMS and, earlier this year, the long-awaited reunion of Dark New Day.
Guitarist Clint Lowery and his new Sevendust side-project with Morgan Rose, Call Me No One, released their debut album, Last Parade, on June 5 via 7Bros/ILG. Lowery recently sat down to discuss his guitar solo on their new single, “Biggest Fan.” Check out the lesson video below.
