It's not often my two loves -- guitar and the Police Academy movies -- intersect, but today is one of those days. I just stumbled on this video, which features Michael Winslow playing Jimi Hendrix... with his mouth. No, seriously.
WPTV/CNN posted a video of a Florida man, Tony Melendez, playing guitar at John Carroll High School in West Palm Beach. What's unusual is that Melendez, who was born without arms and with a club foot, plays guitar with his toes, not letting his handicap get in the way.
These videos have been everywhere the past few days, so we couldn't help but bring them to you as well. A band of children -- ages ranging from eight to ten, and dubbed the Mini Band -- have made quick names for themselves, playing covers of songs like "Enter Sandman" and "Sweet Child O' Mine."
Salt Lake City may not be on the short list of cities with the rowdiest metalcore crowds, but you wouldn't know it from watching video from last night's headlining performance from Bring Me The Horizon.
The latest batch of wackiness from the Lips -- after releasing a 6-hour song -- is that the band are planning to record a 24-hour-long song. If that's not WTF-worthy enough, the final product is to be released inside a human skull. No, not a gummy human skull -- they did that already -- an actual human skull.
