The Mojo Gurus recently filmed a video for the song “Bandito,” which appears on their Red River Entertainment/RED release Who Asked Ya?. Below, you can check out the official premiere of the the new video — while enjoying “Bandito,” is an instrumental, spaghetti Western-style tune with Tex-Mex horns.
As the newest guitarist in Alice Cooper’s touring band, Nita Strauss has some large shoes to fill. The 27-year-old Los Angeles native, who assumed the post this past spring following the departure of virtuoso Orianthi, is the most recent in a line of esteemed six-stringers that have played alongside the rock legend.

Kinks lead guitarist Dave Davies will release a new solo album, Rippin’ Up Time, October 28 via Red River Entertainment. The album, which was produced by Davies and David Nolte, features 10 new original tracks written in the classic Kinks style. According to Davies, Rippin’ Up Time is about “a man's reflections of the past, his fears, anxieties and optimism about the present and hopeful expectations about the future.
Black Sabbath apparently have at least one more studio album — and one more tour — left in the tank. The trio (no word on if they will become a quartet again) will start working on a new studio album in 2015; that album will be followed by a final tour.

The uber-talented duo have collaborated on Caprice No. 24 by Niccolo Paganini, the 18th- and 19th-century Italian composer whose music influenced scores of guitarists, including Yngwie Malmsteen.
