In this new video, Caspian guitarist Erin-Burke Moran demonstrates how he plays "Sad Heart of Mine," a track from Caspian's new album, Dust and Disquiet. The album will be released September 25 via Triple Crown Records (US) / Hobbledehoy (Australia) / Big Scary Monsters (Europe).
September 15 marks the seven-year anniversary of the death of Richard Wright, keyboardist for Pink Floyd. In the video below, you can see his bandmate David Gilmour play Floyd’s “Remember a Day” in tribute to him. The song is a track from A Saucerful of Secrets, the group’s 1968 album, and was written and originally sung by Wright.
When Labor Day came and went earlier this month, it reminded us of the American labor movement and the contributions American workers have made to the strength, prosperity and well-being of the good ol' U.S. of A. However, since we're Guitar World people, we couldn't help but apply those sentiments to music and the American people who made and make it—bands!
