Megadeth's new album, TH1RT3EN, is out on November 1, and it seems weird to say with all of the hype around old-school thrash metal these days, but the last ten years or so might be the most consistent period of Megadeth's career in terms of producing quality music.
Recently, someone opened an old book that happened to be available at a yard sale in Liverpool, England. In it was a folder letter by a young Paul McCartney, offering an audition to a now-unknown drummer in 1960, just days before the Beatles left for a two-month gig in Hamburg, Germany.
Last Wednesday saw the metal gods Judas Priest kick off the North American leg of their Epitaph World Tour in San Antonio, Texas. High-quality footage from the band's entire show has been posted online, and can be seen below.
