Aerosmith have delayed the release date of their new album, Music From Another Dimension, to November. The album, the followup to 2001's Just Push Play, was originally scheduled to hit stores in August.
When Metallica announced their first-ever music festival, it's safe to say there was a healthy dose of skepticism from fans and press alike when they discovered the line-up was far from metal-centric. Boasting a two-day schedule that included indie rock, comedians, metal bands of all stripes, alternative rock, blues and even a brass ensemble, many balked at the band's attempt to bring a "European style" festival to the States.
Late last year, the band, made up of guitarist Jake Hertzog and bassist Mitch Kaneff, locked themselves in Kaneff's apartment for "nearly four straight months" writing an eclectic batch of tunes they intended to record with a selected of guest vocalists as diverse as the songs themselves.
