Today, Styx released a new live DVD, Styx: The Grand Illusion/Pieces Of Eight Live via Eagle Rock Entertainment. You can catch a preview of the performance by watching our exclusive video presentation of "Fooling Yourself" below. The performance was recorded November 9, 2010, at the Orpheum Theater in Memphis on a tour that saw the band -- Tommy Shaw, James “JY” Young, Chuck Panozzo, Lawrence Gowan, Ricky Phillips and Todd Sucherman -- perform both these albums in their entirety for the first time.
Here's one more video from Sebastian Bach and Steve Stevens' show at the Iridium in New York City this past Saturday night. This time, it's a cover of Van Halen's "Hot For Teacher," which was a very timely choice, considering all the hype around the new new Van Halen album, A Different Kind of Truth, which comes out February 7.
Guitarist and philanthropist Mark Morton has donated a custom-designed and autographed Jackson guitar from his personal collection, along with the strings and Lamb of God guitar picks he used to record four of the songs from the band’s album Wrath, to the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation to be auctioned off.
It looks like we might be a little late on this one, given the fact that OVER 2 MILLION people have already seen this video of 8-year-old Zoe Thomas shredding the heck out of "Stratosphere" by Stratovarius. If you haven't already, check out the video below.
