A video has been making the rounds today featuring Kurt Cobain's isolated vocal track from "Smells Like Teen Spirit," taken from Nirvana's seminal 1991 album, Nevermind. While it's not exactly new (it's been up since 2010,) it's still a cool find, and you can listen in the video below.
Led Zeppelin's December 10, 2007, reunion concert at London’s O2 Arena -- a show that saw three aging rock legends revisiting their storied past -- will have a significant impact on future musicians. Proceeds from the event, which was staged as a tribute to the late Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun, make up most of the $45 million being donated by Ertegun’s widow, Mica Ertegun, to Engand's Oxford University. The donation, the largest in the University’s 916-year history, will be used to kick off the Mica and Ahmet Ertegun Graduate Scholarship Programme in the Humanities.

According to a new post on his official website, Rob Zombie and crew will be hitting the studio sometime in June to begin work on his fifth solo album. Zombie's current lineup is rounded out by guitarist John 5, bassist Piggy D and drummer Ginger Fish.

"Can't Slow Down," a song from Joe Satriani's Flying In A Blue Dream album, might be 23 years old this year -- but it's never been a more accurate description of its creator. The guitarist's new 3D film, Sachurated, makes its theatrical debut today -- the same day he's appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno with Chickenfoot. Later this month, Satriani will take the G3 show on the road in Australia with Steve Lukather and longtime partner Steve Vai. As if that weren't enough, Chickenfoot are hitting the road in May on their Different Devil tour of North America.
