Based on the Harmony Bobkat model, which was produced from 1963 to 1966, and was also branded by Airline, Supro, Kay and many others, the Bobkat is fun playing guitar that in its day was the “go to” model for students and pros. And the new Airline Bobkat, with a street price of less than $400 US is on target to hit that same market.

On the morning of August 18, 1969, Jimi Hendrix stepped onto the stage at the Woodstock Music & Art Fair (better known as the Woodstock Festival) for what was to become a defining moment in rock history.

That’s the title of the band’s new and—zounds!—20th studio album, which is Kiss’ hardest-hitting effort since 1992’s Revenge. The collection’s 13 tracks are streamlined and direct, with a vibe that recalls their Seventies-rock heyday and a sound that is solidly modern.
With the Foo Fighters taking an extended break, Dave Grohl is keeping busy with his Sound City documentary. On top of that, signs are pointing to the former Nirvana drummer once again sitting behind the skins on the new album from Queens of the Stone Age.
