Marilyn Manson's upcoming new album doesn't have a name or a street date just yet, but it most certainly has a new song/video. Manson has just released the music video for his new song, "Born Villain," which was directed by none other than Shia Labeouf.
In support of his upcoming debut solo album, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, the elder Gallagher brother has announced a limited -- and we mean limited -- number of North American tour dates for this November.
As previously reported, Experience Hendrix LLC and Sony Legacy are releasing four new titles as their ongoing Jimi Hendrix catalog project. This new wave of releases focuses on live Hendrix, including a four-disc deluxe box-set version of Winterland, which will be released September 13.
Fender has introduced several new, limited-edition acoustic instruments. Models include the USA Select 1, Fender’s first acoustic guitar made in the US since the 1990s. Only 30 pieces are being released worldwide. The dreadnought guitar has a spruce top, flame maple back and sides, forward-shifted X bracing, gold hardware and a Fishman Sonitone pickup system.
The new band from John Arch (ex-Fates Warning) and Jim Matheos (Fates Warning) -- appropriately titled Arch/Matheos -- will release their debut album, Sympathetic Resonance, on September 13 via Metal Blade Records.
