Former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley has unveiled audio samples of every track on Space Invader, his new solo album.
Space Invader is Frehley's first solo album since 2009, and it's set for an August 19 release via eOne Music. The album includes 11 original songs and a cover of Steve Miller's "The Joker."

Metallica Release Official Footage of July 8 Prague Performance, Including "Orion" and "St. Anger" — Video
The good folks over at MetallicaTV have posted official footage from the band's July 8 performance in Prague.
The clip features backstage footage of the band warming up, plus concert performances of "Orion" and "St. Anger."

Weezer has premiered their first new song since 2010, "Back to the Shack." The track is the first taste of the band's new album, Everything Will Be Alright In the End.
The new single is available for download on iTunes today. Everything Will Be Alright In the End is set for a September 30 release on Republic Records.

Eric Clapton Premieres New Song, "Train to Nowhere," from J.J. Cale Tribute Album 'The Breeze' — Exclusive
Today, GuitarWorld.com presents the exclusive premiere of "Train to Nowhere," a track from The Breeze: An Appreciation of JJ Cale.
The album, which will be released July 29 by Bushbranch Records/Surfdog Records, features 16 Cale songs—from "Call Me the Breeze," "Starbound" and "Lies" to "Magnolia" "Songbird" and "Crying Eyes"—performed by Clapton and a host of guests, including Mark Knopfler, John Mayer, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty and Don White.
Godsmack have debuted "Generation Day," a new track taken from their forthcoming album, 1000hp.
In an interview with Grammy.com, Godsmack frontman Sully Erna described "Generation Day" as "one of my favorite songs on the record."
1000hp is due for an August 5 release on Republic Records.

The gang over at MetallicaTV has posted official, pro-hot video from the band's July 4 show at Sonisphere in Basel, Switzerland.
The footage, which you can watch below, shows the band rehearsing and then performing "Ride the Lightning" and "Sad But True" at the actual show.
The Basel show was one of the final shows of the band's "By Request" European tour, which ended July 13 in Istanbul, Turkey.
