On August 14, the Iridium Jazz Club in New York will air a never-before-broadcast Les Paul memorial show on their Livestream channel. The concert, which was filmed in 2009 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, features Zakk Wylde, Charlie Daniels, Steve Miller and more. While a lot of fans miss ex-Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante, one may have taken it a little too far. According to RollingStone.com, Frusciante has filed a request for a protective order against a female fan who has aggressively pursued the guitarist about making a film about his life.

While most U.S. labels have welcomed Spotify to these shores with open arms, many are not without their reservations. Century Media have now pulled their entire catalog (including the catalogs of its associated labels, InsideOutMusic, Superballmusic and People Like You) from Spotify.
San Francisco's First Blood have announced their summer touring plans. The band will hit Europe for two months, playing shows with Agnostic Front, Madball, Sick Of It All, Blood For Blood, Bury Your Dead, Earth Crisis and Hatebreed. They'll even share the stage with metal legends Iron Maiden.
