Here's a video of Brendon Bayliss of Umphrey's McGee talking about the Korg PC-1 Pitchclip Guitar Tuner. This easy-to-read, clip-on tuner features a bright LED -- not LCD -- display that can angle up for clear visibility. The display contents can be reversed (or flipped) so that everything is still properly oriented when mounted on the back of the headstock, so as not to distract the audience from your performance.

RIP, Doyle Bramhall Sr., who passed away at his Texas home over the weekend at age 62. Doyle was a great drummer, singer and songwriter. He was also a dear friend, regular collaborator and huge influence on Stevie Ray Vaughan, as can be very clearly heard; it seems to me that when SRV started singing, he did his best to sound like his drumming buddy Doyle. Here’s a nice, short obit.
