I play for the Idols section of this article. John Frusciante, Former RHCP guitarist, has been an influence on me up to this day. He's the reason why I play guitar now. His emotions when he solos, are just hitting me like a ton of bricks. He's just that good and love that about him :) Also, John's inspiration is a big one on me too. He uses my favorite effect pedal, The Wah Pedal, and he makes the guitar wail, sing, and of course, CRY. He's a HUGE influence on me. That's the reason I still play guitar today. He's my IDOL!!!!!

GW, I really thought you were going to provide some GOOD solid educational or social benefits of learning to play the guitar, not a sarcastic lack of substance article. You guys are usually good about those things. I expect more!
