I'm pretty sure Mathias used a modified Fender Strat. Wonder why he didn't pursue a deal with Fender

Maple fretboard would be preferred for that money they would have a quite a choice of maple too choose from. Toby Keith blows lol. dropping 4 grand for a Washburn ain't gonna happen and Paul Stanley is strictly a three or four chord geetarist. That Vyger double makes me dizzy lol. Cort is a brand I wouldn't mess with and that rear humbucker doesn't make any sense. Almost 7 grand for the Framus? WTF!! Looks like the Tremonti/PRS is the best for the buck. Also that Rudy Sarzo/Peavey Bass looks lika a deal

prs se is the best guitar deal in all of the business. i wouldn't trade mine for any guitar usa or not. prs proves it aint about how much it costs but the design.

I own a PRS Torero that is awesome just wish it had passive pickups its got EMG's which are excellent. Just cannot stand 9 volt batteries lol They are the bane of guitarist. Got a Jackson SLQ2 that was made by Sum Yung Boi in Asia but it rocks

How good can the Snow Falcon sound if the fretboard is painted?

I don't believe it is painted. It's my understanding it gets the same treatment that white hardwood floors get. As I'm not familiar with the process, I can't go into details. I can't recall where I heard this, but I believed it to have been a reputable source, Maybe a Brendon Small interview. I remember seeing an interview with him about the Epiphone version, they were having a giveaway for it a while back. I just don't remember the interview well enough anymore. I do recall him discussing the push pull pots, so I'm also guessing the Gibson would have those as well as they just have the two knobs.
