Is she caught in a time warp? Wasn't she 14 like a year ago or two? All respect to Yngwie but word on the street is he's an asshole and that ain't gonna git it. She has the advantage of using Humbuckers and what looks like a Custom made axe. Uh when I was 14 my guitar gave me splinters lol. She must have a sugar daddy or is a teenage call girl lol

Your in-depth analysis of Tina's wonderful performance is breathtaking. :-( But please let me remind you of a couple of things. Kinda, sorta seeming like a year or two is not the same as actually being a year or two. Tina's date of birth is posted on her YouTube channel and elsewhere. She is not coy about it. She's 14. She has also done a couple of very short interviews where she speaks of her juggling guitar practice time with school, homework and friends. She mentions the support of her parents. Your post says something about you but nothing about Tina and her music. (I think - and hope - there will be an interview here soon.)

Don't get me wrong. I am happy for the young lady and all like her.
Technically she is far better than I will ever be.
The media run articles such as this every year and it seems as if the players get younger every year. But so what. Usually an article or two is all I see about the person before they fade into obscurity.

As the phenoms get younger I can't help but think we will see a headline such as "Expectant mother surprised at guitar playing baby, says the "he popped out of the womb, guitar in hand, wailing on a Paganini Sonata".

Don't look now, but YJM just got his ass SOUNDLY kicked by a 14 year old girl. She plays it much more cleanly than he does.

Ouch!

I have great respect for Malmsteen and this is a good composition, but I thought she actually played it slightly better.

I like how she sits there with the relaxed facial expression of someone waiting for a bus, rarely looking at the fingerboard.

"I did my time, I paid my debt to society. Besides, how was I to know she was only 14, she looked 15 anyway."
For any of you guys old enough to remember Cheech and Chong
Isn't 14 the age of consent in France?

I'm sure Yngwie will find a way to take credit for how good she is because as we know like man evolved from monkeys all shredders have descended from Yngwie according to Yngwie.

She's got this down so well she never even looks at the fretboard. Wow...

Are you looking at her eyes? LOL In the first minute alone, she looked at the fretboard numerous times:

00:01 - 00:05
00:07 briefly
00:08 - 00:09
00:11 - 00:13
00:19 - 00:23
00:25 - 00:26
00:28 - 00:29
00:38 - 00:41
00:43 - briefly
00:45 - 00:47
But then, not again until 1:05; and I stopped counting.....

Impressive never-the-less

And just think, all of the time that you took to annotate where she was looking at the fretboard could have been better used to practice.
