Video: Bruce Springsteen and Tom Morello Perform Van Halen's "Jump"
Last night, April 6, Bruce Springsteen opened his set at the March Madness Music Festival in Dallas by covering Van Halen's 1984 hit "Jump."
Along for the ride was Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, who played Eddie Van Halen's guitar solo. Unfortunately, the video below doesn't show any of Morello's solo (We hope to find a more complete version of the clip).
Morello is an official member of Springsteen's band on this tour.
Longtime Springsteen guitarist Steven Van Zandt was not at the show, which has led to some online speculation about the cause of his absence. Care to speculate?
