Guitar Center and DIRECTV will feature Peter Frampton on the next episode of Guitar Center Sessions 10 p.m. EST this Saturday, June 11 at 10pm ET/PT in 2D hi-definition on DIRECTV’S Audience Network (channel 239) and in 3D on DIRECTV’S n3D powered by Panasonic. Guitar Center Sessions features exclusive performances and intimate, enlightening conversations conducted by Nic Harcourt.

In the episode, Frampton sits down with Harcourt to discuss a wide range of topics, including how listening to pirate radio station Radio Luxembourg shaped his young musical mind, his schoolboy friendship with David Bowie, the origins of “Frampton Comes Alive,” and how his music is still finding new generations of listeners. In the episode, Frampton and his band, who will hit the road on June 15 for the Frampton Comes Alive! 35th anniversary world tour, perform songs from his entire catalogue.

The set includes “Show Me The Way,” “Asleep at the Wheel” from his latest album, Thank You Mr. Churchill, and a cover of Soundgarden's “Black Hole Sun” (Frampton’s version was nominated or Best Rock Instrumental Grammy).
