No thanks.... If that's what they think a wah should sound like, it should be back to the drawing board.

I mean 5 minutes of annoying talking with some guy thumbing a PRS like its a Jazz bass in the background didn't show me anything. Why didn't they demo the sound?

Walking around on stage with a Wah foot (no it's not a disease - at least not yet!) would probably be quite interesting.

Great, now millions of guitar players can play wah anywhere in their parents basement. Just kidding. Truly, I like the fact that someone is trying to develop different technology for the advancement of playing music

They kind of have this already, search up "Hot Hand Wah." Dragonforce uses them, these guys just made it better, which is still an achievement all the same

Actually you don't have to stand still. You could leave the effect on and walk around, having the Wah sound actuated by your walking motion (which would be pretty cool). However, the main idea is that you don't have to worry about going back to wherever your Wah is on stage. You can use the effect anywhere. This leads to a much better musician-audience interaction, and a better concert experience. If you're talking about using the traditional motion for any pedal so the player doesn't have to learn anything new, this is a good idea and probably the closest thing we'll ever get to wireless pedals. I would buy one.
