Video: Randy Rhoads' 'After Hours' Soundstage Performance
Randy Rhoads
Legendary Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Randy Rhoads died 31 years ago on March 19, 1982.
In honor of one of metal's greatest and most influential guitarists, we present this heavily edited YouTube clip of Rhoads performing with Osbourne on the After Hours TV soundstage.
In the video, all of the footage of Rhoads — and only Rhoads, if you get our drift — from the original TV footage has been edited together for eight minutes of pure Rhoads magic. Enjoy!

I was very pleased with the passion that Randy played with. A influence, a giant, a mentor. Thanks for this video, it is very much appreciated. You can see Randy's passion for guitar and lead playing fluidity shining bright on this video!!

Link to a playlist with the best quality HQ videos of Randy on YouTube, including all 4 songs from "After Hours". They are 480p, rather than the 240p of the video link above, so you can see a lot more detail of his playing, expressions, and everything else.

One of my very first inspirational guitarist, and to this day, one of my favorite to ever play the instrument. Such a tragedy and a loss to the music world that will continued to be solely missed. We miss you so much!!
