Here's a Guitar World video from the 2013 Winter NAMM Show, which took place January 24 to 27 in Anaheim, California. During the gear- and rain-filled weekend, we paid a visit to the gang at the VOX booth to check out some new gear. This video profiles the company's new StompLab multi-effect pedal.
I have an embarrassing confession to make: I’ve never played an electric guitar. What?! How can that be?! In all my years of working with amp brands like Marshall, VOX, Acoustic, Dean Markely and 65amps, and interviewing and writing about great players, I just never felt the inclination to track down an electric guitar and plug in.
New Vox gear includes the Delay Lab pedal, which offers 30 presets and a 28-second looper (There's so much more to say about the Delay Lab; to read more about it -- and see another video -- head here); the Handwired Wah, which offers more mid-range than usual; the AC4 C1 amp in blue; the AC4 Handwired amp and the Tony Bruno TB18 amp.
Vox has just unveiled their new DelayLab pedal, which aims to combine all the classic delay sounds and more into one handy pedal. In addition to 30 diverse delay effects, the DelayLab offers a stereo looper that can capture up to 28 seconds.
