Prince’s long-lost Purple Rain “blue angel” Cloud guitar sells for more than $500,000 at auction

We recently reported on Prince’s custom-made and long lost “blue angel” guitar, which was up for sale at Julien’s as part of its Music Icons auction.

The electric guitar, Prince's main live instrument from 1984 until 1993, went on the block at the June 19-20 event with an estimate of $400,000 - $600,000, and it didn’t disappoint, selling for an impressive $563,500.
