“A detailed, room-filling tone from a remarkably compact body”: Laney continues to redefine the competitive battery-powered amp market with its small footprint powerhouse, the PRISM-MINI
Mini-amps are definitely having a moment – and Laney is upping guitarists' expectations with the integration of some seriously helpful features
Laney is rolling out its PRISM-MINI, a compact powerhouse amp that continues to redefine the battery-powered amplifier market. With 100 presets, Bluetooth control, and rich stereo depth, it delivers the full spectrum of sound at a quarter of the typical combo footprint.
“Big sound doesn’t have to mean big size,” says Laney. “The PRISM-MINI packs a full-featured digital effects engine, Bluetooth connectivity, and stereo sound into a portable desktop amp you can take anywhere.”
In terms of specs, the PRISM-MINI comes equipped with 50 factory presets and another 50 that can be crafted by the user, and allows for six simultaneous effects. Furthermore, it features a 1.77” full color screen, and “intuitive” volume and parameter controls that make it easy for the player to dial in their preferred tonal parameters.

Bluetooth 5.3 provides seamless playback capabilities, while the built-in tuner and drum machine ensure this mini amp is truly a one-stop shop. Additionally, the amp comes equipped with a rechargeable battery that supports up to 14 hours of continuous playtime, allowing any location to be transformed into a stage.
Furthermore, with USB Type C power, true stereo 3W+3W output, and dual 1.5” woofers, the Laney PRISM-MINI guarantees a “detailed, room-filling tone from a remarkably compact body” that can be further tweaked using the accompanying Tone Wizard mobile app on both Android and iOS platforms.
