So we've been following the Century Media vs. Spotify story somewhat closely -- and yes, we promise we'll weight in with our very own op-ed piece soon -- and, after a highly-entertaining back and forth between Century Media and the guys at Metal Sucks, Spotify has now stepped up to the plate to respond directly to Century Media Records. Billboard reported in April that Spotify territories saw an average digital growth rate of 43% last year. By contrast, neighbouring countries (without Spotify) saw only 9.3% digital growth."
