On Page 30 of the all-new July 2013 issue of Guitar World, Jeff Loomis discusses this video, which he created and sent us back in March.
It shows Loomis tackling Jason Becker's "Perpetual Burn" to a backing track — and pulling it off in one impressive sitting.

"I think it was really a challenge for myself to see if I could do it," Loomis says in the new issue. "I always found myself playing snippets of Jason's music but never really played a whole piece of his accurately. After I learned it, I thought, Hey, this doesn't sound half bad, so I programmed some drums and did a few tracks of rhythm guitar."

Geez! Anybody want to buy my guitar? I don't know what's more impressive-seeing Jeff play this perfectly, or the fact that Jason did this umpteen years ago. Totally awesome, Jeff!
