Guitar Auction to Feature Signed Axes from Les Paul, ZZ Top, Zakk Wylde and Others
On Saturday, October 24, 2009 in Dearborn, Michigan, numerous guitars signed by world-renowned guitarists and rock stars will be held at Dearborn's Ford Community and Performing Arts Center.
Guitars signed by Zakk Wylde, Les Paul, Motley Crue, Jason Mraz, Robin Trower, Steve Vai, ZZ Top and others will be up for auction. A Beatles themed mosaic guitar will also be available.
Stars Guitars is a family friendly gala that will feature a concert by REO Speedwagon, exciting live and silent auctions featuring guitars signed by popular musicians and a gourmet strolling dinner. Proceeds from this high-energy evening support the Charles A. Main, M.D. Pediatric Cancer Survivor Scholarship Fund of Beaumont Hospitals. In addition to college scholarships, health grants will also be awarded to Beaumont Hospitals' Late Effects Clinic for Survivors of Childhood Cancer.
