Australian Guitar #168 hits newsstands today and, well, look: If you've ever admired the way the Fab Four can rock out, we've got an expansive 8 page feature looking at some of the concepts behind the rockier side of the three guitar-playing Beatles. As always, audio accompaniment is available right here on Guitar World, with handy links in the mag itself.

It's a bit of a technique fest this issue: We also look at ten scales from throughout the world, all the better to add some new colour to your lead work or songwriting. Whether the Hirajoshi or Hungarian Gypsy scale, this feature has you sorted with some fascinating new ways to approach your instrument.

As technique heavy as the issue is, we have not neglected artist features. Inside we chat with Courtney Barnett, Sunn o)), Jethro Tull, Kurt Vile, Devo, and last but certainly not least, The Eagles' Don Henley.
