The ideal environment for an acoustic guitar is one with 45-55 percent relative humidity—anything higher and the wood can swell, resulting in all manner of structural issues; anything lower and the body can dry out and crack.

Furthermore, they’re constructed using a variety of classic, exotic and reclaimed hardwoods, from African mahogany and padauk to Brazilian cherry, cocobolo, flamed maple and white oak.
