Lacuna Coil and Ovation Guitars have teamed up to present a series of free acoustic clinic mini-performances, which will take place at guitar stores across the U.S. throughout the Jägermeister tour.
According to guitarist Cristiano Migliore, “We’re totally excited and looking forward to playing all these acoustic shows. It gives us the chance to perform in a different way, creating a more personal and unique atmosphere that you won’t find at our normal concerts. It was definitely challenging to rearrange our songs into acoustic versions, but we’re really happy with the results and hope you’ll enjoy listening to them as much as we did writing them.”
Rick Hall, product manager for Ovation Guitars, commented, “Having Lacuna Coil team up with Ovation for these in-store acoustic performances is a great way to showcase our guitars in the hands of real pros. But the biggest winners are the fans, who get a free show and a chance to meet the band by just showing up at the stores! Thanks to Lacuna Coil and their management for all their enthusiasm and support.”
Lacuna Coil are currently gearing up for their first U.S. run of 2007 as part of the latest installment of the Jägermeister Music Tour alongside Stone Sour and Shadows Fall. The trek, which runs through early May, is the group's fourth U.S. run in support of their Karmacode album. They will be swapping out the direct support slot with Shadows Fall in certain markets; see the itinerary below for the full breakdown.
