Are These the Top 10 Female Guitarists of All Time?!!?

As most GuitarWorld.com fans know by now, this site often shares guitar-centric lists that were produced and posted by other news sources, including Guitar Nerds, GuitarPlayer.com and GuitarAficionado.com.

Lately, we've been sharing lists created by WatchMojo.com, a group that posts top-10 lists—in video form—about pretty much everything, including space ships, theme parks, junk food, alien robots, non-alien robots, zombies, fast cars, fruit, comic-book characters, explosions and, well, you get the idea!

You might even remember two recent ones, Are These the Top 10 Guitar Models of All Time? and Are These the Top 10 Heavy Metal Guitar Riffs of All Time?. Ah, the memories!

Anyway, here's another one from the WatchMojo.com gang: The Top 10 Female Guitarists of All Time. Do you agree with their choices? We don't want to give away any surnames, but let's just say there's a Joan on this list, and a Nancy. There's even a Mary—and a Marnie. We'll leave the rest to you.

Be sure to check it out (and, of course, complain in the easy-to-use comments section) below.

By the way, to see a jaw-dropping new video by 17-year-old French shredder Tina S, who is not on this list (which was created in 2014), head here. Enjoy!

Damian, a former member of Brooklyn's The Gas House Gorillas, was the sole guitarist in Mister Neutron, a trio that toured the U.S. and released three albums. He now plays in two NYC-area bands.
