Gene Simmons Gets a Facelift
Kiss bassist Gene Simmons and his longtime companion, former Playboy Playmate of the Year Shannon Tweed, have undergone dual facelifts—and the procedures will be shown on two episodes during the second season of Gene Simmons Family Jewels, their highly rated reality show, premiering March 25 on A&E.
The 57-year-old Simmons, who had a facelift and liposuction, recently told USA Today, “Honestly, it just sort of happened.” What viewers will see, according to the Kiss legend, is “like biology class…more fascinating than gory.”
Commenting on her facelift, Tweed, 50, said, “Plastic surgery was Gene’s idea. But I wasn’t going to let him look younger than me.”
