Another "best" list.... Oh God! Kinda like guitar players, opinions, and @ssholes, everybody either knows one or has one, and... well you know the rest of the story. Just ask any editor!

I don't get it...Kopek's "White Collar Lies" was released in the States at the beginning of this year. It was released last year overseas, but if you're looking at US release, this album should definitely be in the top 50 easily. The whole album is incredible!!!

Really? Morbid Angel? That album is awful, at least for Morbid Angel. Sure, it's still better than some of the younger bands listed, but that's not exactly saying much. Some huge omissions:

Ben Harper - Give Till It's Gone
Devin Townsend - Deconstruction / Ghost
Warren Haynes - Man In Motion
Graveyard - Hisingen Blues
Ghost - Opus Eponymous
Mr.Big - What If
Tommy Emmanuel - Little By Little

Joe Bonamassa's "Dust Bowl" is missing from your list of top 50.

"We didn't feel the need to rank these in any particular order, and we encourage all of you to check out anything that made the list that might have slipped past you so far this year."

Actually reading the article can be helpful sometimes Iii|; )

Ummmm Asking Alexandria is better than Born of Osiris and Periphery? I don't think so. The Discovery should be #1. And why the hell is BTBAM'S EP #40? Seriously, you think Winds of Plague is better?

Is this list in any particular order? If so, Black Country Communion 2 should probably rank in the top three!

Hey guys, unless I'm mistaken, The Human Abstract's "Digital Veil" was not included. One of the best guitar albums this year.

Have a great 4th of July weekend.
