That was Bob Ezrin’s mission when he agreed to co-produce Pink Floyd’s The Wall with guitarist David Gilmour and bassist/vocalist Roger Waters. The legendary tensions between the two feuding Floyds came to a head during sessions for The Wall in 1979 — which was why Ezrin was called in.
Check out this new video from acoustic guitar phenomenon Thomas Leeb. “Trickster” was released June 30 and features some extremely innovative fingerstyle technique from this gifted guitarist. Some of the track’s unique sound could be contributed to it’s odd CGEbGGD tuning.

Below, check out fingerstyle guitarist Thomas Leeb deliver a gorgeous fingerstyle rendition of the Floyd classic, “Comfortably Numb.” Leeb makes great use of a GoPro camera, with shots not only on the outside of his guitar, but inside as well. It’s no wonder Leeb has a commanding ability on the guitar. According to his bio, he studied West African traditional music for three years, which has clearly given him an advanced sense of timing and groove.
