This past week was a strong one for rock albums on the Billboard Top 10 chart. Leading the way were alt-rock veterans Incubus, who moved over 80,000 copies of their new album, If Not Now, When? to land at the No. 2 spot on the charts.
I can’t remember life without Paul McCartney. I’m dating myself, but one of my very earliest childhood memories was seeing McCartney and The Beatles performing “All My Loving” on the "Ed Sullivan Show" back in September of 1964.
When I talk music, I always bring up Kiss because, pound for pound, they are probably my favorite band of all time. It’s a toss-up between them and Megadeth. But from a lot of people what I hear is, “Oh man, I could just never get into Kiss." I really feel like a lot of people are missing out on the greatness they have to offer.
I've been a huge fan of The Who since discovering Tommy at age 13 during the summer of 1969. (Apparently, a lot of great things happened that summer.) For decades, I listened to, learned and played everything by The Who that I could get my hands on.
