Machine Head to Release New Album in September
Machine Head has announced that their forthcoming studio album -- the band's seventh -- will be released in September. The Californian band have been hard at work, recording in Green Day's Jingletown Studios in Oakland, California.
"We had some time off and we started itching to get back in and start writing just whatever was flowing out," Machine Head drummer Dave McClain told Horns Up Rocks! "And it's killer, man. It's super-exciting. ... We feel like we've got another kick-ass album on our hands, and we can't wait for everybody to hear it."
The forthcoming album, which is still untitled, will be the follow-up to 2007's The Blackening.
