Dio's Complete 'Finding The Sacred Heart: Live In Philly 1986' Concert Coming to CD/DVD

Eagle Rock Entertainment will release a new live Dio DVD, Finding The Sacred Heart – Live In Philly 1986, on May 28. The show on the was recorded at the Spectrum in Philadelphia on June 17, 1986, during the second leg of the Sacred Heart tour, which featured new guitarist Craig Goldy. The show was issued in an edited form, first on VHS and then DVD. For the first time, however, the full concert is being released as a double LP in the original running order and with remastered sound.

In the 1980’s, Guitarist Craig Goldy was already having an amazing career. While playing for bands like Rough Cutt and Giuffria, his resume was already impressive. But in 1987 when the guitar slot for the legendary band Dio opened up, he would ultimately be chosen to play for the band. This raised the young guitarist into a whole new echelon of the Hard Rock and Heavy Metal universe.

Today marks the two-year anniversary of the death of the legendary Ronnie James Dio. A variety of Dio tributes have been paid from all around the metal community, and Canadian metal band 3 Inches of Blood decided to pay homage by releasing a special lyric video for their song "Look Out," off their latest album, Long Live Heavy Metal.
