Jack White has announced the first two stops on what will likely turn into a larger tour in support of his upcoming debut album, Blunderbuss.

While Jack White hasn't always been keen on the idea of a solo album, it looks like the former White Stripes frontman has come around.

As part of Third Man Records' "From the Vault" series, a new 7" single will be released later this month featuring two never-before-heard outtakes from the White Stripes.

It's not unusual -- wait, yes, this is very unusual.

Jack White, an American picker in his own right, will appear on The History Channel's American Pickers TV show when the crew from the show visit White's Nashville-based Third Man Records.

The White Stripes may be gone, but that doesn't mean VH1 can't further immortalize their musical output in the form of a Pop Up Video segment.
