Sweetwater Black Friday deals 2026: the sale is live with a massive up to 60% off

My top deal of Sweetwater's Recording Sale sale is a nice $100 discount on the Universal Audio UAD Guitar Amp Plugin Bundle. It’s got four classic amp tones with Marshall, Vox, and two Fender amp simulations. I’ve been hands-on with all of these amp sims, and they really are fantastic quality. Plugged into an audio interface, you can get tube-like tones without spending loads, and there are a lot of powerful presets to get you started if you don’t have much experience dialing them in. For me, I love the UA stuff because it’s super simple to use and gets you a great sound quickly.

If you’re recording at home, you’re going to need an audio interface, and the PreSonus Quantum HD 2 is a great option for guitar players. If you want to blast your guitar at home, a bigger studio monitor is always better. The KRK Classic 8 is a beast of a monitor with its 8-inch speaker, and will deliver your guitar tones with plenty of punch. They’re $199 each in the sale with a $50 reduction, so they will cost you less than $400 for a pair, which, if you ask any studio engineer, is really good value. They’ve got 1/4-inch and TRS inputs, so you can connect directly from your multi-effects or amp modeler, and there are controls on the back to adjust the sound if placed close to a wall.

The Positive Grid Spark Mini has been my favorite practice amp for a long time now, thanks to its blend of fantastic tones, excellent volume, yet surprisingly small form factor. With a $75 reduction at Sweetwater, taking it just south of $175, it's awesome value for money, and in my opinion, the perfect practice amp.

If you're into your shoegaze tones, this Catalinbread Soft Focus Ghost is a great buy with 15% off at Sweetwater. It combines their Soft Focus reverb pedal based on the Yamaha FX500 patch of the same name and adds in a phase shifter, which results in some incredible, otherworldly guitar tones. It's really easy to use and as well as the classic Slowdive sounds it has plenty of tones that go beyond ambient.
